“When you believe yourself to be master of your own thoughts, you become so.” Emile Coue, noted hypnotherapist, said this decades ago and it still rings true. Think of how many times we let our negative thoughts dominate our lives. “I just can’t get to sleep tonight,” we say as we continue to toss and turn in bed. “I’ll never remember all of this,” as we study. Both of those statements are right. Your subconscious mind takes hold of those negative statements and makes them your new reality. We have ceded control of our own thoughts and believe that we can’t change them. That erroneous assumption is what we have to change.
Believe in yourself and your ability to change your thoughts because you can. What if you said, “I’m getting more and more sleepy with every passing second,” or “I’m remembering more and more of this every time I review it?” Your subconscious would make that your new reality.
Hypnosis is a great way to change those negative thoughts into positive ones.
